Abstract

Project prismatic lifter robot with PLC is an example of engineering application which can run automatic besides pick up load using automatic gear changing concept. PLC is controllers which have orders that program to run the operation with method refer to the input and output. In this project, there are 2 main parts which is program development by using computer with PLC. FPO - C 14 is used to develop this program. For the hardware development, it is about choosing the sensor that will be used to detect line to for robot and also designing process of the robot system to develop controller is widely used in life application especially for project that run automatically. The example of application is for robot competition task of this robot is as rescuer of the team. This robot will standby to operate at the starting point when the competition starts. When the team was block by other team, the team robot will send signal to show that they have problem. After received the signal, this robot will operate to reach the suppose area using line follower robot concept. It will operate automatically by using lifter concept. The advantage of this robot is it can change the gear movement with three mechanisms.
