Abstract
Study conducted in this ‘Projek Sarjana Muda’ (PSM) is relate with crawler system of industry vehicle. Field of study in this project is involved with Fire Fighter machine in ‘Fakulti Kejuruteraan Mekanikal’ (FKM). Purpose of this study is to investigate the way to increase speed and response of Fire Fighter. Solutions that use in this study is redesign the movement system of Fire Fighter. Investigation process involve with detail investigation about system that nearly same with Fire Fighter. Every component that relate with movement system will be investigate and understand. Result of this study is redesigning the movement system. The new design will use 2 electric motor, chain and sprocket as a power transmit medium and motor controller that will take over the gear box function.
