Abstract
There are many ways to store energy. Energy can be stored in battery in the form of chemical energy, stored in flywheel in the form of kinetic energy, stored dams in the form of the potential, in rubber bands and springs also in the form of the potential energy. Energy can also be stored in the form of elecrical energy in capacitors. So this project is to study how to stored electrical energy in the capacitor can be retrieve to drive an electrical load, typically an electrical about. Since the charge from the capacitor is discharge in transient from depending on time constant it has to be control to provide a steady current. The current from the capacitor will have to be chop by switching circuit and next pulses through a filter circuit. As known, capacitor can store energy quickly in few seconds. This is the advantage it has than the other device which can also store energy but take long time to store energy. It is expected in the near future, capacitor will be used widely as a storage device.
