Abstract

In pursuit of excellent, the SMI Company are developing and implementing strategy in effectively to improve their productivity through their environment and workers safety level. This report presents the study of risk management implementation in metal industry which conducted at that company. These systems, is a team-based technique for identify, assess, analyze, and review the unacceptable risk to worker, environment and production in term of safety. The objectives are to study risk management, to implement risk management, to propose improvement for safety working condition at selected company. The methods brainstorming, questionnaire, interview and observation are conducted to gather the information of risks exist in their workplace. There have eight risks identified and analyzed using risk score matrix. To control and treat the risk, the implementation on creates safety working condition and provides Safety Operation Procedure and training to the workers is use as pilot of the study. The results shows, after implementation, the risk level reduce and the safety awareness increase after training session. Therefore, the three objectives are achieved
