Abstract
The purpose of this project is to design and develop a water tank level monitoring system. It can monitor water level in a tank automatically. At the high rise building, main water tank is place on the rooftop of the building and difficult to reach. Usually, technician or building management does not know whether the water pump is functioning or not. The only way they will know is when the water dries out. This system can notify the user if there is a problem regarding the water supply in the tank. This project is embed with PIC16F876A microcontroller, Ultrasonic Sensor and Global System for Mobile (GSM) Modem. GSM Modem is used to notify the user when the faulty detected by the system. This system can be implemented at the water tank as monitoring tools by person in charge. It can also provide an efficient data measurement where the user can easily monitor water level inside the tank.
