Abstract

Fiberglass in one types of fiber where is has the specific property such as most widely used reinforcement fiber and is the lowest in cost and used as reinforcement fiber where has lower strengths and modulus and bigher densities. Fiberglass are produced by drawing monofilaments of glass from a furnace containing molten glass and gath.ering a large number of these filaments to form a strand of fibreglass. It available in three main types where E-glass is known as electrical grade, C-glass for chemical resistant grade and S-glass and referred as R-glass has enhanced mechanical properties. The resin are used mostly from thermoset types included epoxy and vinyl ester and after that, it have characterized with the sequences experiment such as microstructure and physical properties. The experiment are tensile test, hardness test and scanning electron microscope are used to characterize the properties of composite where composite are produce where fiberglass as reinforcement and used the thermoset resin and called tbe impregnation. The impregnation process has done where the fiberglass impregnated with resin used the band lay up process. The half cure process mostly to make the bigh properties such as for strength used the compression molding process. The samples are produced by sequence process where weighing the resin and hardener and lay up it for the fiberglass and before that, it would have cut. After that, the lay up process were called impregnate and lastly compress it to produced half cure properties before testing.
