Abstract
This project required to design and develops of robot navigating system based on Lego Mindstorm. The robot involves motorize movement, sensors detection and machine vision to be manipulated by the NQC program. The main objectives by creating the rooot are to develop the navigation technique, my designing and constructing interface of sensor and to develop the RCX Programmable to NQC Programming. When building the body of the robc>t, special care was given to make it robust enough to withstand any force of impact with the wall at the maximum robot speed. The purpose of this effort is to extend the scope and functionality of the mobile robot from an architecture focused on intelligent platform mobility to one that encompasses a variety of platform-independent. The mobile robots cover a wide range of operational requirements related to remote handling and manipulation towards the future technology.
