Abstract
This project is about fuzzy logic acceleration feedback frequency controller for gas turbine to increase the quality of power system. This controller was designed and simulated using Matlab I Simulink and Fuzzy Logic Toolbox. Frequency control is important to perpetuate the balance between the power generate by the generator and the power consumed by the load. The sudden changes of load can cause the over and under frequency in power system. Both events can bring damages to generator if both happen frequently. Thus, the controller is integrated with Automatic Generation Control (AGC) to restore the frequency back to nominal value. Analysis on the performance of the controller has shown that the power system stability is improved in which the major over and under frequency has been reduced to allowable limit.
