Abstract

As we all know, students a required to implement a form of project or research involving a certain scope in their respective fields of study in order to fulfill one of the requirements of the course selected. This project which is compulsory for the final year students of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering know as Bachelor’s Degree Project. For the author PSM, the title of the project is Heat Recovery System in Vehicle: Temperature and Power Analysis that is being supervised under Dr. Musthafah Bin Mohd Tahir. This project is mainly about analysis the temperature and power that can be produce with heat recovery system in vehicle. The Organic Rankine Cycle System will be applied to the radiator on the vehicle in order to obtain power from it. Studying, researching, applying, enable changing, and analyzing are some of the processes in implementing the project. The temperature from radiator will be taken in order to find hot source and clod source for the Organic Rankine Cycle System. The difference in temperature will be the complement of the cycle in obtaining the power. The problem is on applying the system to the vehicle with such minimal space at the front of the vehicle. While another problem is to get the best temperature difference from the heat source and cold source from the radiator in order to get the highest power.
