Abstract

In developing a product, all manufacturers or any entrepreneurs can never run away from the word concurrent. Concurrent engineering and concurrent product development is an essential implementation in order to produce a better product. Relatively to this, cooling pad is the chosen product to be developed with the fundamental of concurrent engineering and concurrent product development approach for this project. It is a device that functions to maintain the processor temperature by using fan that connected to the laptop itself as a power source through USB port. The reason of this product to be chosen is its simplicity of function and design makes people think that this device needs no improvement. This project will reproduce the usual cooling pad that available in market with new improvement. The product will also be fabricated using RP machine after it is designed using CAD and analyzed using FEA approach
