Abstract
The project field for this project is relates to the internal combustion (IC) engine. The combustion products are mainly gaseous. The present invention relates to the exhaust gases as waste heat energy to develop a simple recovery mechanism. The kinetic energy from gas exhaust recover by mechanism provides a turbine for exhaust gas recovery that uses the kinetic energy of the exhaust gas flow. The exhaust gas through the turbine impeller and drive the shaft that has a pulley connect to drive alternator to produced electricity. The amount of exhaust gas flow through the turbine is controlled by exhaust gas divider system. The electrical current that produces by alternator was investigates.The waste heat energy recovery mechanism is testing on engine dynamometer test.
