Abstract
This research is lo determine the eliect of temperature on the fatigue life of mild steel. tn order to determine the fatigue life or this specimen, fatigue test has been conducted. The value of amplitude in fatigue test has been gain from the tensile test. The reference value is on the yield strength of the specimen. Beside that. from the tensile test, the mechanical properties or the specimen also have boon obtained. Some of the specimens have been heat treated in order to give the temperature effect on them. When the specimens have been heat treated, there must be changes in lheir microstructure, so microstructure study has been conducted.
