Abstract
Nowadays, traditional Home Energy Monitoring system uses electricity from the power grid and is not applicable in rural area where there is no electricity supply. Additionally, the control and alert system that prevent accidents from happening is not equipped in the existing system. To overcome this issue, the project introduces the development of solar energy for home appliances power monitoring and control system in order to minimize the gas emission issue; that also integrates the IoT system to monitor and also able to control the load consumption of the home appliances.
