Abstract
For the last few years, numerous contaminations of water treatment plant occur around a few states in Malaysia, leaving many domestic and industrial areas lacking water supply for a day or sometimes more than a few days due to water rationing. With an embarking on current technology, an early warning for water contamination level is necessary. In this thesis, an alarm system and a real-time database that can store pH, turbidity, and temperature data were developed and analyzed. Key point of the project is to analyze and monitor the quality of water through IoT technology. The collected data such as pH, turbidity and temperature of water are sent to the Internet cloud computing storage which can be retrieve at any time require. At the end of the thesis, its show that the water contamination level through the IoT system is successfully developed, besides sort of water contamination is tested and measured to validate the effectiveness of the developed system.
