Abstract
In today's fast-paced world, mobile pick and place robot can be used in production line, thus it can reduces manpower. Furthermore, the usage of mobile pick and place robot reduces human's boredom and drudgery in industrial field. The ability of a mobile robot in doing the exact same job over and over again without tiring is one of advantage of automation. This project is to design a mobile pick and place robot which can be used for industrial and warehouse applications. Line following system will be inserted into the designed robot to guide the robot moves on a desired path. A gripper will be designed and developed in this project. Generally, pick and place systems are manipulators that lift, move and place objects in a desired location. The links of the manipulators are connected by joints allowing either rotational motion or translational displacement.
