Abstract

Bahulu dan Kek Kak Long are involved with bahulu production and have been in the food manufacturing industry for more than 16 years.Nevertheless,during that period,the company was unable to grow due to problems in the production aspect that could not fulfill market demand.For that reason,the Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) offers solutions for its production problems with the design of fully automatic machine,using food grade stainless steel,easy operation and use industry-specific molds that have been used by the company.The company faces problems in the current production line which can only produce 4000 pieces (80 containers) per day.While,market demand is double the current capacity which is 8000 pieces (160 containers) per day without employing new employees.With the use of machines that uses full pneumatic system UTeM researchers have achieved the required targets by maintaining the same operating time and work force.
