Abstract
Energy storage device is very important as its ability to store energy especially electricity. The need for energy storage devices are important because it are useful in a variety of applications and purposes. A device that commonly used today as energy storage is battery and it has a weakness where its take a long time to been charge . It is not convenient in emergency situation. With advances in technology and research , the energy storage device has been created that is ultra capacitors . This study investigate the time of charge and discharge the ultra capacitor. Development generator as a charging port for ultra capacitor is fabricated and the output voltage with the rate of rotational speed are measured. Ultra capacitor charged using a DC-DC power supply and it has a very fast charging rate.
