Abstract
Malaysia is among the oil palm growers become the world's leading producer of palm oil. The consequences of this is a lot of dumping waste industry. In this study, three types of industrial wastes of palm oil mesocarp fibre, shell and decanter cake goes through several thermal-physical analysis to identify the potential for these materials to be used as a solid fuel for commercial use and conventional. Sample used is in basic form or mixed with through physical thermal test which tests on the moisture content (%), mechanical strength for load testing and test calorific value. The study found decanter cake is a sample which has the highest percentage of 70.5% moisture but turns out to have good mechanical durability, recording the highest value of 690N with the adding of fiber mixture. Highest calorific value owned by shell samples with value 4504 kcal / kg.
