Abstract
The problem of integration between theory and application in mathematics and statistics problems need to be solved. During class time, there will be plenty of discussion and brainstorming sessions on how to solve the problem. The students are motivated to learn the theoretical and they approached both subjects in applied. Besides that, we as a lecturer must aware of the rapid development in educational technology such as how to achieve and maintain a critical, balanced and well-designed use of the computer in mathematics education. Furthermore, it is a challenge of how to provide the best content in mathematics and statistics that can really match and useful to the industry. As this university is concentrating on engineering, mathematics and statistics content should be effectively prepared one, for that career and at the same time helping to develop students' critical thinking and decision-making. It is our target that the students have to apply their knowledge and theory into practice in industry. Therefore, the students can apply clearly how both the theory and application consolidate in the industry. Most of the process involve in this project are stati stical processes. Starting with selecting respondent, constructing questionnaires and analyzing data. We use qualitative and quantitative data analysis together with SPSS for analyzing data. At the final stage we compare our result by discussing with the expertise in mathematics and statistics from other universities.
