Abstract

Virtual Reality (VR) is a current technology which can create a virtual object in the real world environment. The project ·that developed for Bachelor's Degree Project is "A Virtual Reality for User Interaction of Living Room Decoration". It is used new technology approach which is Virtual Reality and 3 dimensional objects. This project purposes for helped the interior designer to give visualization the actual llving room decoration to their customers. Besides that, it also can helped people produce their own decoration without need of interior designer service and they can get visualization the actual decoration before make a real decoration. The project can give the ideas for users to decided the design and apply the services according their test. Users also design the furniture position with the provided furniture. Living room space is specially designed to be the sample and as a reference when decorating and arranging the furniture's. Methodology for this project is pre-production, production and post-production. This methodology helps to achieving successful and quality at the end of project. The fmal output is non - immersive displayed on a monitor screen. As a conclusion, this A Virtual Reality for User Interaction of Living Room Decoration is a system functioning to help solve the problem in manual processes that user cannot visualize the result which will be decorated in the real world.
