Abstract

The study was about a compliance of the Environmental Quality Act to a manufacturing cDmpany. A study conducted to identify environmental hazards at the manufacturing company and propose a control to eliminate or minimize the risk of the hazards. Besides hat, the significant risks and aspect wiJl identify. The compliance is important as the manufacturing company attaining the environmental quality certificate. TI1e act that covered in the study is only nine which are the regulations and the orders of the act. The tool used in the study is Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Dctermining Control (HIRADC). The hazards will categorize into several categories based on the ier-archy will used to counter the hazards. Another approach is the questionnaire to assess the awareness of the employee and employer of the act. The type of questionnaires used is the closed type which likert style used to ease the data company. The objectives of the study were achieved when the lXmntermcasurc for the company was proposel.
