Abstract

The use of digital technologies in education has expanded beyond traditional classrooms. In the context of the post-pandemic entrepreneurial landscape, this study investigates the effectiveness of virtual collaborative learning (VCL) in fostering entrepreneurial skills in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) students. Results are anticipated to show that there is a positive relationship between TVET students and the framework of group projects that have been identified as enhancing entrepreneurial skills. Satisfaction with the course was also correlated with Instructors Engagement, Students’ Attitude, and Platforms Use. A sample of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) students is conveniently selected from Technical University Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) in Melaka, Malaysia. Data were conducted through questionnaires and analysed using quantitative analysis. The process of gathering primary data will entail distributing questionnaires to UTeM students in order to conduct a survey. Probability sampling will be used to select a total of 385 respondents in order to guarantee representative sampling. A pilot test will be carried out before the main survey, and reliability analysis will be done to verify the consistency of the information collected. The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) will then be utilised to analyse the participant responses. To test the researcher's hypotheses, a variety of statistical techniques will be used, such as multiple regression analysis, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and descriptive statistics. From the result, Instructors Engagement, Students’ Attitude and Platforms Use have significant relationship in influencing the effectiveness of VCL to enhance entrepreneurship skill among TVET students and Instructors Engagement is the most significant factor influencing the effectiveness of VCL to enhance entrepreneurship skill among TVET students. In future research, the researchers can use the proposed new conceptual framework to carry out the study or add other variables for the study.
