Abstract

The vast development of information technology has influenced the way human live. This suits the human needs and also the effectiveness that results from its usage. The report of Portal MyKUTKM project is prepared for "Projects Sarjana Muda II" (PSM II). It contains the combination of overall activities, the research and projects progress which has been combined in one final report. These reports cover the projects methodology, research analysis, first designation and prototype, and also the conclusion for all of the project. The portal is about the Kolej Universiti Teknikal Kebangsaan Malaysia. This has a relationship with this discussion. Besides, this portal is also consisted of the student's report on services those available in KUTKM. Through this portal, users can interactively interact as it contains all of the multimedia elements like text, graphic, animation and many more. This MyKUTKM portal's user targets are students, staff, lecturers and which involve with KUTKM. Project that was developed are online bases. In developing this portal, the interface design was made interestingly as to make it more user-friendly. This portal can also be used as a guideline for achieving information about discussion and also report that was made by the user. Portal MyKUTKM was developed using special software such as PHP coding, Java Script, and MYSQL for the databases purpose.
