Abstract

This research presents the reliability and analysis of regenerative energy from vehicle suspension system. The method used in this study is to investigate the experiments on the induced electric from electromagnet and experiments done by earlier researchers, suspension system components, and the components of the vibration energy regeneration and conversion. Based on research the energy regeneration using electromagnetic induction system is one of the efficient method and has a high reliability rate. Result of the calculations performed, an electromagnetic induction system was designed. Among the method used to design computer-aided drawing is through the use of CATIA V5. This drawing includes drawing where the concept of this drawings on the concept of regenerative suspension system. This project uses the concept of functional electromagnetic induction to convert mechanical energy from vibration into electrical energy. Subsequently, this energy can be used in car application. Based on the calculation performed, the result of the electromagnetic induction can be used as a second source for road vehicles. The cost of production system is also affordable. After fabrication process is settled, the model was tested and the voltan and current can be obtained from the experiment.
