Building a scalable, highly available application is a necessary process in ! ! becoming functional as an online examination application.E-Test is has the back- I j function which can ·be used by the lecturer as the administrator and the front- I ! functiol\: which is used by the student. The back-function includes the maintenance l ! and configuration for theE-Test application. Such of the maintenance work that can l ! be done mclude configure the question and configure how the question displayed. 1 j F.or the front-ftmction include search the individual result, generating performance I ! graph and answering the question.E-Test application also contain security feature 1 l such as authentication lo~ session timeout, keep track of the user action, abandon ! I user session after log out and avoid user to click the IE back button. E-Test ! l application is a web application which is develops u.'\ing Microsoft SQL-database l ! server, Microsoft Visual .Net (ASP.NET), ASP and the liS Web server. It applies ! l the three-tier technology which includes the database server, client and web server.
