Abstract

Gamelan Playing Machine is a project that can play the gamelan automatically by the machine that been controlled by the computer. The purposed of this project been develop is to plays the gamelan without the player. Program will be develop and bum into the microcontroller. For this project MC 8051 will be used for the microcontroller. Microcontroller was an integrated circuit where it been used for the input and output for the analog and digital signal. It means that, its react as a centre of processor to control the hardware. After it received the input from the consumer, the controller that has been program will command the beating to hit the gamelan. The overall of this project is separated into three levels. The first level is developing the controller circuit and driver circuit, the second level is to develop the software and the third level is to develop the hardware to hold the handler for the gamelan. The important thing is to develop the hardware in designing this flexible beating system that will use the music nod from Nokia standard. Gamelan music can be played when the consumer choose the song that been monitor on the computer screen.
