Abstract
An optimization process for the aerodynamic design of a family car ev06 is presented. Aerodynamic aspects were investigated using Computational fluid dynamics and wind tunnel testing. First design attempt procedure using CFD was conducted to study the effect to drag coefficient lift coefficient and also lift force and drag force. Testing procedure using Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka subsonic wind tunnel were conducted to verify the result .Both results were compared to dete.rmine the optimum vehicle with respect of low drag and effective lift.
