Abstract

Heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) system have been introduced to us for a long time ago ever since the first fire was created. As the time goes by along with the civilization, it has evolved gradually. From the creation of fire, then the use of fan, followed by the creation of furnace and then the invention of mechanical cooling equipment. All of those were invent for one purpose, the human comfort. They create a heating system so that they can maintain their body heat during cold weather, the ventilation system is use to make sure that people are inhaling fresh air, and then the airconditioning were created so that they are allowed to feel more comfortable during uncomfortably warm, humid, or hot climate. That is when HVAC systems were invented so that the absence of discomfort can be reduces. In this modern day, HVAC systems can be found anywhere including home, office, building and even vehicle. Moreover when the global warming is starting to take effect, this is when HVAC played its roles. This research is about design and development of HVAC system for steering wheel which primary focus on the design of steering and duct, analysis and fabrication.
