Abstract
The purpose of this project is to design a controller for an expansion valve in a car air-conditioner system. A development if this project is a process improvement from original system. The projects begin with modeling and design an expansion valve. It is pursued by designing a controller for the system. The project involves hardware and software parts. Then, PIC controller is designed using PIC (PIC 16F877A) to assure the expansion valve will operate consistently. This controller is implant together with the system.
