Abstract

The aim of this project is to design a device for monitor the tire pressure and verify an inflated tire. This system continuously monitors the pressure sensors located in the tire. This device consists of two basic components which is tire Sensors which screw onto the valve stems of the tires, and a Display Monitor inside the car (dashboard). The Sensors transmit a coded RF signal and can alert if pressure drops. The Monitor displays each tire‘s pressure if tire pressures drop. The main element of transmitter part is tire pressure sensor. The sensors transmit data at UHF such as their unique sensor ID, pressure, temperature and battery status (where applicable) and other diagnostic information. This data is sent to the Micro Controller Unit (MCU) or specific receiver on the vehicle.
