Abstract
The design and analysis of an electrical carriage introduced a carriage from a manually pulled carriage to motorized transportation marking a significant technological advancement, bringing about faster and more reliable modes of travel. The project aims to analyze the performance of the carriage based on speed, acceleration, and energy consumption and validate the voltage measurement operation of the electric carriage vehicle's system. This research contributed significantly to understanding the complexities associated with electrical carriages, focusing on the sustainability, dependability, and safety of modern transportation. The methodology involved detailed analysis and validation of electrical components, documented with Fusion 360 renderings and manual outlines. The speed test revealed a correlation between load mass and average speed, with heavier loads reducing speed. The power consumption test showed that steeper inclines increased current usage due to higher power demands. Factors such as gravitational force, rolling resistance, and path terrain significantly influenced the vehicle's efficiency. The study highlighted the importance of terrain analysis in assessing electrical carriage performance. Overall, the research validated the carriage's performance in various scenarios, providing valuable insights into power management and efficiency, and contributing to the advancement of sustainable electrical carriage.
