Abstract
Agriculture plays a significant role in supplying the food to all the human population such as the cereals and vegetables due to high demand of food nowadays. Precision fanning has successfully enhancing the quality of the plants as well as the quantity of the crop fields. This farming method was worked together with advanced technology by sensing, monitoring and controlling the precise data for supplying the exact amount of the water, temperature and nutrients needed by the plants. Therefore, this project aims to develop a IoT based monitoring system by utilizing solar-powered wireless sensor network to monitor certain changing parameters surrounding the plants. This system consisting of a few sensors which is to measure parameters of the plantation such as temperature, humidity and soil moisture. The obtained data from sensors is displayed at Thing speak for data visualization purpose. Besides, this system included a monitoring system that is using pi camera for capturing image of plantation in certain time period and uploaded to a dashboard via sensor network. The output response of this project is successfully implemented, designed and set up in order to operate each of the assigned instruction. The prototype of this project is developed and placed at the corresponding location to aggregate all the data then upload to particular cloud.
