Abstract
The healthcare industry faces significant challenges in patient record management, with traditional paper-based systems proving inefficient, time-consuming, and error-prone. These challenges have far-reaching implications for patient safety and the overall efficiency of healthcare administration. To address these issues, this research introduces an innovative solution in the form of an RFID-based Medical Record System. This system utilizes Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to revolutionize the way patient medical records are managed. By adopting this RFID-based system, the associated risks of medical errors can be mitigated, leading to enhanced patient safety. It incorporates a user-friendly graphical interface accessible through a web application, providing administrators with seamless access to medical and patient records. The development of this project underwent rigorous testing, confirming its effectiveness in simplifying the storage and retrieval of patient and medical data. By leveraging RFID technology, this research contributes to improving the efficiency, accuracy, and security of patient records, aligning with the evolving needs of modern healthcare organizations. As a result, the RFID-based medical record system holds significant promise in enhancing patient care, reducing costs, and increasing overall operational efficiency. Despite existing challenges in implementing RFID technology in healthcare, this research lays the foundation for improved systems that can boost its adoption. This integrated system has the potential to enhance healthcare outcomes and patient care standards, signaling a significant move toward the future of medical record management.
