Abstract

Every year, more and more people lose their lives in house fires. In as little as 30 seconds, a fire can grow out of control and threaten a building. The inhabitants of the building are in danger of being destroyed. As a result, preventing the blaze from spreading further is crucial. A low-cost and effective automatic fire extinguishing system developed with Arduino, Bluetooth modules, piezzo buzzer, temperature sensor and gas sensor, DC fan to reduce the risk of housefires is proposed in the Development of a Fire Retardation system Using Arduino for Residential and Commercial Buildings. The LM35 temperature increases indicative of fire. The MQ-7 gas sensors provide a simple, low-cost way to detect CO gas levels for air quality monitoring, gas leakage detection. The DC fan will help to disperse the smoke, and the water pump will flood the affected area. With the help of the Bluetooth module, the the sensors can wirelessly communicate with the DC fan and water pump. This will lessen the possibility that the sensors in a fire emergency will be unable to activate the water pump and fan due to a broken transmission channel.
