Abstract
The purpose of this research paper is to the findings of research project into the design of seatbelt adjuster for children that makes use of the design integrated method. The primary purpose of this investigation is to develop an idea for child's seatbelt adjuster for the booster seat. The vehicle that is being proposed needs to be suitable to the design. Wearing booster seat is to improve the safety of the vehicle's occupants and to provide protection if the vehicle is involved in a collision or accident. The integrated design method is a collaboration between two methodologies which are The Inventive Thinking Process (TRIZ) and the Morphological Chart. After build theoretical notion for the elements in a methodical manner, important solution parameter for specific design characteristics were refined and morphological charts were sued to display the results. The final conceptual design was produced based on two different design principles. The design was analyzed in the Catia V5 and produce a dummy seatbelt adjuster by using 3D printing.
