Abstract

An online survey system allows users’ related information to be collected, processed and stored efficiently and instantaneously. Such a system offers great advantages compared to the traditional system, which collect data manually and unsystematically. Nevertheless, this online survey system has a drawback of data confidentiality and user’s privacy. The reason is that, all the collected data are transmitted to other party for processing and storing purpose. Outsourcing users’ related information attracts unforeseen attackers to steal such information for their own benefit. Thus, A Secure Online Survey System is proposed to allow mobile users to provision a survey securely through their mobile devices. This system implements homomorphic encryption scheme to enable the encrypted survey data to be processed without the need for decryption such a system ensures data confidentiality and users’ privacy can be generated at all levels at data processing. Furthermore, such a system implements data aggregation technique to prevent the sever gains any individual data. This is because the server only received the final result of the survey data
