Abstract

Nowadays, purchasing and selling online have become important parts of the lives of many people. The reasons are including lower costs and saves time without having to go to stores. Therefore, the online monitoring Probrand Clothing project is a website developed to facilitate and improve the company’s performance and service. There are three parts in the website such as monitoring, staff and customer sites involved, but this website focused on monitoring part. Issues faced regardless of the customer or manager such as time constraints and costs involved in getting to go to the desired stores; plus poor management in online shopping is also a part of issues affecting customers. This system is implemented through several process which is planning, design, implementation and testing to make sure completed effectively. This website implemented by using open source technologies such as MySQL client-server model, server management XAMPP, scripting language PHP and HTML, JavaScript AJAX and JSON also used as lightweight data interchange format. The results of the study are presented and discussed with reference to the objectives of the study; results obtained including website interfaces, database management system used and user acceptance testing conducted verifies or accept the website. Based on previous research, it is proven by using open source technology, the website successfully function in terms of user can see, update, delete data to manage or organizes as their request. Hopefully this project will be useful and will make it easier for users to manage their system effectively.
