Abstract

The main purpose of this project is to develop an automatic sprinkler system. This system will uses a ground-based moisture sensor supported by solar energy to assist users in the agricultural sector. The conventional process usually takes a lot of time, with this invention; it can help reduce the amount of time needed for the watering process. The alarm system will be used to determine the empty water tank based on the detection of the water level sensor. Water pump motor will be pumping water from sources to replenish the water tank. In terms of humidity, DHT11 temperature sensor and humidity and soil moisture will be controlled by Arduino UNO microcontroller which serves to read humidity temperature and display the temperature readings through LCD display. When the temperature and humidity of the ground are in a low state, the water spray will be automatically directed to the plant and will stop when the soil temperature and humidity are at the desired level. As a result, plants will get enough water supplies without involving human labor. The project can also save water due to the use of soil moisture detector where it can identify the ideal time for a working solar water pump. The implication of this project works well in today's world where it facilitates work, saving time and energy.
