Abstract

A solar-powered ventilation system is a tool used for ventilation in the room.The ventilation system is divided into two types of mechanical ventilation systems and natural ventilation systems.An advance in technology today has encouraged the use of this system.The aim of this study was to design a ventilation system that can reduce heat in a room.To move this system it requires electrical energy,so solar energy is used to create this system function.Solar power is functions as converts' solar radiation into electricity with photovoltaic modules.The design is based on CFM system which has been calculated based on the volume of the room and the appropriate CFM fan.To complete this project a model house size 1 m x 1.25 m x 0.75 m was create to measure air temperature and the fans as well as solar photovoltaic ventilation used to drive the fan. Futhermore,conduct the experiment by comparing the temperature before using the system and after using the system.Based on this study it shows that the normal temperature pattern in Malaysia which is beginning in the morning is not hot enough so the afternoon was the climate and at the evening is the temperature is drops slowly.Next,maximum power generated by the solar panel project is 34.778W at 2:30 pm.In conclusion,the solar-powered ventilation system has been successfully tested on a model of the house and calculations as well as data are the show in this report.
