Abstract

The physiological is a terms related to function of the mind which is specifically influenced by brain function and effect on mental health of humans. The physical is the expenditure of energy from exertion of skeletal muscles and normally it required the effort from the muscle to move from one position to another position.Reported from the previous literature review, the European Working Conditions (EWCS) says that repetitive movement can lead to the pain in muscles, nerves and tendons that caused by repetitive overuse of working task.Based on the observation in DEF Company has found that they often doing the bad bending posture in daily activities. To overcome this issue,a survey was conducted to the 31 workers in the department who standing for more than 50% of the total working hours.Next, experiment has been conducted under heart rate and the stress level. After that, the test on Electromyogram (EMG) muscle fatigue is done for two of the respondents to collect the data muscle in pain. Then, the data is validated to prove they are experiencing discomfort in their body parts.Garmin Connect Watch and EMG have been chosen as the main measurement to this project. The function is to calculate the average heart rate of the workers and detect at which point duration does the muscle is fatigue. There are 31 respondents involved in the collection of questionnaires and 10 of respondents contributed to the heart rate experiment and two respondents on muscle fatigue. The questionnaire is developed to get the background of the respondents and some of knowledge of them on ergonomics field. As an overall result for this project,it shows that the stress level of the workers has the high potential relationship to the muscle fatigue of the workers in the aerospace industry.
