Abstract

Many people also think that a layer of security system is enough for their home.But,not all home security alarms will discourage the burglars from entering or targeting home.It is because most alarm at home act as post detection alarm and will trigger after burglars broke in the home through the door or window.Security alarm system also utilize the same and common alarm sound to alert the resident.The intruder will still dare to break through the home and threaten the resident to turn off the alarm immediately.Besides,false alarm usually happens on home based security system.Because of the reason,this project namely wireless barking intruder alarm for IOT home security system was developed that helps to prevent the crime of burglary and as too improve the current home security so that the residence can be in fullprotection. This system is as pre-detection alarm with a barking dog sound,that act as a first protection layer of home based security system with capabilities of sending notification to home owner through Wi-fi.The elevated sound feature is believed to be the key factor in reducing the act of house-trespassing or any kind of crime such as burglary. In this system,the main application is wireless alarm system.Since the required system is involving the element of sensing and wireless system configurations,sensor is a must and for this design that is PIR sensor.By doing so, the system becomes human-free monitoring system with its ability of motion-triggering.To elevate it to the new level of security,the system is designed so that it will goes on with the sound of barking of dog and IOT notification through phone and email.The processing system are mainly from the application of Arduino Uno and Raspberry Pi or basically involving the arithmetic process of analogue-to-digital processing and thus producing the coding for both Arduino Uno and Raspberry Pi which then used to control and trigger the receiver and transmitter circuit respectively before the alarm of dog barking as is produced as the result.A notification and barking dog sound will be triggered from the speaker when someone gets close to home area.It is almost same as a real angry dog sound and it can scare away the intruder.
