Abstract

This report present the development of Development of Cage Automatic Technology System (CATS). Owning a pet is part of an entertaining of the modern day society and it is become quite common in a normal household. But taking care of the pet’s dung is a huge burden to owner where not only it is disgusting when cleaning but also unpleasant as the smell can be very strong if the leftover is not quickly clean. The purpose for the development of project is to solve problem where the owner doesn’t have to clean after the pets dung which system will automatically scoop the dung. The project is call Cage Automatic Technology System (CATS) which is a product that uses an Arduino UNO to control a stepper motor on cleaning the pets dung. Arduino is a microcontroller development platform paired with an intuitive programming language that develop using the Arduino integrated development environment (IDE). By equipping the Arduino with Infrared Receiver Sensor (IR), motor, relay, weight sensor and other integrated circuit it will turn the Arduino into a programmable brain to control the system.
