Abstract

Food waste trap (Grease Trap) was named because it is a tool that versetail and used by everyone who loves the environment and those involved directly and indirectly. The aim of this study is to reduce water pollution in the vicinity of residential and business premises which manages food. To produce this food waste traps example, it is available in several sizes and types that have been available in the market. This study was conducted to produce food waste trap in medium size and portable. In addition, in terms of manufacturing and materials cost in this project are also taken into account to make the project cheaper and affordable. The study also analyzed to make improvements in this food waste trap. All the data obtained, improvements in terms of design, weight and size can produce new food waste traps and easier to maintain.
