Abstract

The video provides step-by-step guide to simulate fluid flow through a duct bend based on the Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) approach. The simulation is conducted at steady state to predict the flow separation along the duct. The computational domain is constructed based using structured grid to reduce computational effort. On completion of this tutorial, you should be able to verify the CFD model and to investigate the effect of Re on the flow fields inside the duct and the flow separation along the duct.
