Abstract

This paper gives a brief overview on mobile object alert by radar system on its purpose to produce target Synthertic Aperture Radar (SAR) imaginery, range of target from radar and speeds of moving target. The radar uses a frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) architecture. To save costs, empty metal butter cans are used as antennas, components are mounted on a wood block, the system uses only six coaxial microwave parts, analog circuitry on a solderless breadboard, and runs on eight AA batteries. Raw data is acquired by the audio input port on a laptop computer. The output of this radar is generated using algorithms in digital signal processing (DSP). The raw data is acquired in .wav file recordered using recording software for every objective of this object. In order to produce the image of target, SAR radar is developed and .wav file is recorded during the displacement of SAR on its platform. Doppler Radar is developed to achieve the speed of moving target by processing the profile of .wav file recorder in the procedure. FMCW radar is developed in order to achieve range of target from radar by processing the range profile collected from .wav file.
