Abstract
Many companies have to continuously striving in order to increase their performance and kept satisfying the customer. Value stream Mapping is one of lean tool that can helps in identifying waste. Value Stream Mapping is a pencil and paper tool used to visualize the flow of process in bringing a product from raw material to the hands of customer. It can be drawn by using manually by hand or Microsoft Visio. Before creating the Value Stream Mapping, required data need to be collected in the manufacturing company. The primary purpose of this value stream mapping is to identify waste that occur through the process flow and apply lean technique to reduce the waste in order to decrease the lead time while maintaining the quality of product. The first step is to create current state map to show the value stream of product. Then. Improvement plan will be propose in order to give better value stream.
