Abstract
Robustness of audio streaming poses many challenges, including bandwidth channel, data losses, interferences, continuous stream, delay and etc. Current real-time streaming technology offers an interesting alternative as well as cost effective solution for the university to begin it's first step in offering the same service to the student and staff.This research is focusing on developing a radio program, which will be broadcast using real time streaming technology using KUTKM local area network. It involves various efforts in acquiring the suitable content and conducting experiment on multiple approach of streaming including protocols. Among tools that will be used Real, Winamp and Media Player software. The significance of this research is a cost effective radio program for KUTKM, which is available through Intranet. The radio will be transmitted real-time using the appropriate streaming protocol.
