Abstract

Petrol stations are full with signs to warn the users to switch off mobile phone at the specified area. Unfortunately, there are still a lot of users disobey rule altogether and switch on or silent their mobile phone. Besides that, many users always use the time to make a call while filling up the vehicle tank. This is dangerous and inappropriate because the vehicle is filling with highly flammable petrol and may cause fire or explosion. So, designed of this mobile phone detector is to reduce or minimize the case accidents in petrol station. This mobile phone detector is able to detect the use of a mobile phone is a certain locations especially while refueling vehicle in petrol station. Furthermore, the capability of this mobile phone detector is to detect the active use of phone which is incoming call or outgoing calls and alert users by audio visual system. Hence, the mobile phone detector places at the petrol station not only minimize the accidents in petrol station but also safe to surrounding building near petrol stations.
