Abstract
Inverter is used to convert the DC voltages to AC voltage with certain frequency depending on the system requirement. For the fixed set point system, single output frequency of inverter is adequate. However for variable set point on the system, variable output frequencies need. In this project, the three-phase inverter is going to developed. The power MOSFET is used to act as the electronic switch meanwhile microcontroller is used as the switching controller to the power MOSFET in the three-phase inverter development. This project used microcontroller and three single phase inverters. The three single phase inverters will connect in parallel to create the three-phase output voltage. From this technique, the three-phase inverter can use as a single-phase inverter without unbalance phase-voltage condition. As a result, an independence three phase inverter has been design and develop. The performance of the inverter has been evaluated via total harmonic distortion of output voltage at various output frequencies.
