Abstract

This project aimed at using condition monitoring approach to develop e-maintenance system. The condition monitoring approach applies a real time sensor. This project also based on e-maintenance concept. Engineers or scientists may consider e-maintenance as a concept, or as a philosophy, or as a phenomenon, and so on. Nevertheless, the concept of e-maintenance that is widespread today in the industry refers to the integration of the information and communication technologies (ICT) within the maintenance strategy and/or plan to face with new needs emerging from innovate ways for supporting production (e-manufacturing), business (e-business) as expected by the Industries. To ensure the project is complying with industrial needs, a real case study will be conducted. This project will benefit engineers in decision making before maintenance action being undertaken.
